EMS 1431 - EMT Hospital/Field Experience

Corequisite: EMS 1119, EMS 1119L
This portion of the student’s education brings the theory taught in lecture and skills taught in laboratory sessions together in practical application on live patients. Includes practical application of EMT clinical knowledge and skills under professional supervision. Provides for directed experiences in local hospitals and health facilities and field observation and experience in emergency vehicles. Along with successful completion of co-requisites provides eligibility for National and State of Florida EMT certification examinations.
