HUM 2223 - Late Roman and Medieval Humanities Credits: 3
Prerequisites: ENC 1101 with a grade of “C” or higher. An integrated examination of dominant ideas in Western culture as expressed in art, literature, music, philosophy, and religion. HUM 2223 covers the period from the Late Roman Empire through the Middle Ages, emphasizing the development and historical influence of Christianity. The course will focus on cultural expressions from the Western canon and may also include expressions from around the globe. HUM 2223 is a Gordon Rule writing course as defined by SBE Rule 6A-10.030.
