ENC 1101 - Composition I Credits: 3
Prerequisites: College ready status, satisfactory scores on placement tests, or completion of developmental reading and writing with a grade of “C” or higher or enrollment in a corequisite developmental education course as applicable (ENC 0056C ). This course introduces students to rhetorical concepts and audience-centered approaches to writing including composing processes, language conventions and style, and critical analysis and engagement with written texts and other forms of communication. ENC 1101 is a Gordon Rule writing course as defined by SBE Rule 6A-10.030.
