HUM 2232 - Renaissance and Baroque Humanities


Credits: 3

Prerequisites: ENC 1101  with a grade of “C” or higher.
An integrated examination of dominant ideas in Western culture expressed in art, literature, music, philosophy and religion. HUM 2232 covers the period from the Renaissance time period through the Baroque, emphasizing the development and historical influences of these periods. The course will include cultural expressions from the Western canon and may also include expressions from around the globe. HUM 2232 is a Gordon Rule writing course as designed by SBE Rule 6A-10.030.
