NUR 2810 - Nursing Preparation for Practice Credits: 1 to 3 - Variable
This course introduces students to topics related to the transition from student to practicing nurse. Topics include critical thinking, clinical judgment, collaboration and communication skills, evidence-based practice, and professional values and responsibilities. A key focus is introducing students to professional nursing and behaviors necessary for professional accountability. Students and faculty will complete a contract including number of credits, course objectives, student expectations, and methods of completing objectives, methods of evaluation to fulfill objectives.
