NUR 3125 - Pathophysiology

This course focuses on the study of pathological changes of the human body from normal to changed mechanical, physiological, and biochemical functions resulting from altered hemostasis, injury, or disease process. The course will emphasized how disrupting normal structures and functions of the human body leads to disease processes from the cellular to the multi-system level. Included is the critical examination of the mechanisms underlying signs and symptoms, complications, and prognosis of commonly occurring diseases across the lifespan.
