NUR 3826 - Legal and Ethical Issues in Nursing

Prerequisites: NUR 3805 
This course explores theories, models, and principles of legal and ethical decision making in clinical and in management health care delivery situations in a variety of health care settings. Clinical and nursing management decision-making dilemmas are identified and analyzed toward refining critical thinking and advocacy on the part of the nurse. This course provides the student opportunities to utilize models, processes, and ethical and legal frameworks of decision making as a foundation for clinical and leadership practices.
