MEA 0543C - Electrocardiograph Aide

This course orients students to the structure and function of the human body specific to the cardiovascular system. Students will be able to demonstrate necessary skills and knowledge to prepare a patient for an EKG procedure, perform an EKG using standard precautions, infection control, quality assurance, and safety, and recognize some basic cardiac rhythms.
