This course consists of an introduction to clinical equipment, basic laboratory diagnostic testing, and specimen collection and processing. The student will gain an understanding of the various laboratory tests, safety rules, and government regulations. Student will learn how to perform basic tests and microscopic examination procedures. Topics will include emergency preparedness and protective practices.
