MEA 0581C - Clinical Assisting

This course will provide the student with the skills and knowledge needed to assist the practitioner with various aspects of the clinical practice. Student will learn to apply principles of aseptic technique and infection control in the medical office environment. Skills included in this course are vitals, patient care, preparation for examinations and procedures, treatments, surgical sterilization procedures, and equipment use, care and routine maintenance.
