PRN 0690C - Comprehensive Nursing and Transitional Skills Credits: N/A, Clock Hours: 150
Prerequisites: PRN 0291C This course encompasses general concepts of maternal/newborn and pediatric nursing using the nursing process in the acute and long-term care settings. Students learn to organize and care for multiple patients with health care deficits. Emphasis is placed on the role of the practical nurse in the clinical setting. Clinical experiences are provided in both a nursing simulated laboratory and various healthcare facilities under faculty supervision.
