EET 1084C - Introduction to Electricity and Electronics


Credits: 3

This course covers the basics of DC and AC electricity including atomic structure, Ohm’s Law, resistance, capacitance and inductance for series, parallel, and mixed circuits. Circuit components, circuit diagrams, and circuit building are included in the hands-on lab as well as measuring voltage, current, resistance and capacitance with a multimeter. Different switches, transformers, relays and diodes are introduced.
