Basic concepts and vocabulary of typography with an emphasis on the expressive potential of the letter form. Students will explore various typographic constructs and principles in a study of how the organization stress the shape of letter forms can affect the ideas that they are meant to communicate. an exit grade of “C” or higher is required.
