ART 1400C - Printmaking I

This course is an introduction to the medium of printmaking. It concentrates on the technical production of various print media including: Intaglio, Relief, Monoprint and Serigraphy (Screen Printing). Emphasis on drawing, design, and understanding the technical procedures and the investigation of the positive/negative concepts, as well as color printing. An exit grade of “C” or higher is required.
