ETS 1535C - Automated Process Control
Credits: 3
Prerequisites: ETS 1542C with a grade of “C” or higher.
This course introduces the modern approach to control theory and the ideas of controllability. Proportional-Integral-Derivative control theory with the use of sensors, actuators, and programmable logic controllers (PLC) are investigated. Students will be introduced to modern engineering level PLC control systems used in industry and the elements that compromise a closed-loop process.
