BSC 2010L - Laboratory for General Biology I

Corequisite: BSC 2010  
Primarily for science majors, this is a laboratory course to provide a hands-on experience to reinforce and supplement material presented in BSC 2010 . This course emphasizes biology at the cellular level. Topics will include measurement; use and care of the microscope; chemistry and biochemistry; cell structure and function; cell division, including mitosis and meiosis; metabolism, including cellular respiration and photosynthesis; and genetics, including Mendelian and molecular genetics and biotechnology.
