RTE 2573C - Special Imaging Modalities

Prerequisites: RTE 1513C and RTE 2613 with a grade of “C” or higher.
Study of the principles of computerized imaging, including computerized tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound, Digital Radiography, SPECT and PET. Study of applications in producing diagnostic images and safety issues in the various modalities. Will also emphasize normal and abnormal cross sectional anatomy.
