RED 4319 - Diagnosis and Instructional Intervention in Reading Credits: 3
Prerequisites: RED 4342 with a grade of ‘C’ or higher This course provides diagnostic and instructional interventions in reading through formal and informal methods and materials used to identify reading strengths and weaknesses of students. Emphasis is placed on diagnosis of reading problems, administration of assessments, evaluation of results, and planning instructional interventions to remediate reading deficiencies. Successful completion of this course will signify completion of Competencies 3 and 4.
