HUS 1001 - Introduction to Human Services

This course provides an interdisciplinary approach to understanding community human services agencies and systems. It introduces students to the skills necessary for entry-level and professional work in education, social work, mental health, human services administration, and related fields. Students examine the dynamics of the human services delivery system, explore the implementation of social services policies, and describe the roles, duties, and training required of human services workers.
