COP 1000 - Introduction to Computer Programming Credits: 3
Prerequisite or Corequisite: CGS 1060 with a grade of “C” or higher.
As an introduction to computer programming this course focuses on presenting the fundamentals of programming to students with no prior experience. Topics include problem solving using logic, algorithm design using pseudocode and flow charts, structured programming, data types, operations, expressions, control flow, functions and arrays. Hands on programming exercises are completed using a modern programming language.
