MAT 1033 - Intermediate Algebra Credits: 3
Prerequisites: College ready status, satisfactory score on a placement test, or completion of developmental mathematics with a grade of “C” or higher or enrollment in a corequisite developmental education course as applicable (MAT 0055 or MAT 0056 ). Topics include factoring, rational expressions and equations, radicals and rational exponents, complex numbers, quadratic equations, linear equations and inequalities in two variables and their graphs, systems of linear equations and inequalities, and an introduction to functions.
