SLS 1301 - Life and Career Development Credits: 3
This course is designed to aid the college student in career planning. The course discusses the areas of opportunity in the employment market as well as appropriate educational programs in preparing for those employment areas, are discussed. Modern techniques and standardized testing are utilized in assisting the student in personal career choice. Students will be involved in activities that provide opportunities for exploration and practice in job-seeking techniques, resume writing, life and career choices and interviewing skills. The course may not be used for a social science credit.
