Prerequisites: PSY 2012  with a grade of “C” or higher.
An introduction to mental illness, its definition, classification, and treatment. Includes the historical background of abnormal psychology, the major conceptualizations and the nature and descriptions of psychological disorders. Assumes knowledge of concepts typically learned in an introductory psychology course.
