HIM 2800 - Professional Practice Experience I

Prerequisites: HIM 1211C with a grade of “C” or higher.
The student will learn comprehensive topics in Health Information Technology functions: Account Access and Login, Patient Care Services, Master Patient Index, Physician Care Manager, Release of Information, Deficiency Analysis, Delinquency Reporting and Revenue Cycle Management and chart analysis. Virtual lab activities are a required component of this course.
